2 Vtg Maryland Souvenir Coffeepot Toothpick Holders w Legend Books Sealed Picks
Here are 2 vintage collectible souvenir toothpick holders from Westminster, Maryland. Figural ceramic coffeepot holders brightly painted red and cobalt blue, decorated with dogwood flower transfers on the fronts, and with "Westminster Maryland" forest with deer paper sticker on the backs. Each holds the original contents of a sealed pack of multicolor wooden toothpicks and a "The Legend Of The Dogwood" booklet. One actually has an extra booklet (there are 3 total booklets).
I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. The coffeepots are about 2 1/8" tall.
The coffeepots are marked "Japan" on the bottom and have the original G.C. Murphy Co. store "3/74 {{detail_product_description}}.99" price sticker on the bottom.
The 4-page "The Legend Of The Dogwood" booklets are marked "Japan" on the lower backs, and have red ribbon cords at the corners.
The cellophane sealed bundles of multicolor wooden toothpicks have "Made In Japan" stickers at the end.
Gently handled condition, minor wear and aging overall. Bright and clean condition. No chips or cracks. Minor paint imperfections that may be original. Booklets are curled up from being inside the coffeepots. No musty or smoke odor.
