Description:
A crisp uncirculated banknote from Macau. This is the August 8, 2005 ten Patacas note issued by the Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank). The note is orange and rose colored underprint on the front. The front depicts the image the statue of the Goddess A-Ma to the left with a close up of the head of the statue within the underprint left pf center. The back of the note has the same color scheme as the front and shows the building housing the Head Quarters of the bank. The front displays two signatures and the denomination while the back displays the serial number. This particular banknote has the serial number AA006550 displayed twice in black. The banknote has a watermark that depicts a lotus flower. The note also has a solid security thread to the left of the front and a wide segmented holographic windowed security thread to the right of the front.
