    Description

    Very rare antique 4 oz. unopened Golden Rule Root Beer Extract bottle, complete with instructions for making the beverage. marketed in 1900-01 by the Citizens' Wholesale Supply Company, Columbus, Ohio. The extract was sold as a temperance alternative to booze, but the label notes that the formula is 9% alcohol. The complete instruction sheet is photographed above for further information on the product. The directions sheet is in near mint condition, no rips, slight paper tanning along the edges.
