Antique Apothecary Jar w/ Base C. 1900 Bottle.
ANTIQUE APOTHECARY JARS; MATCHED PAIR ART DECO BASE Fabulous matched pair of circ. 1900 bee hive apothecary jars recently acquired. Each jar stands 23.5” tall, measures 10” at the girth. Each jar is 13” deep and fitted with a glass finial stopper. The glass stoppers are not original to these jars! They are loose but serve the purpose well! The glass appears to have an iridescent look and the mouths are slightly off center suggesting hand blown. Decorative cast aluminum bases display art deco styling. No attempt has been made to clean or polish these treasures. Preparation for shipping will include double boxing to insure safe delivery. The set will be shipped in three separate boxes; one for each globe and one for metal bases and stoppers. No international shipping available for this item due to prohibitive costs.
