I believe this pick was obtained in 1981 from the Blue Oyster Cult tour that took them to Madison, WI on November 5th. The album Fire Of Unknown origin, featuring the song Burnin' For You was released in June of that year. I don't know whether or not it was used by Donald

, founding member, primary songwriter, lead singer and guitarist for the band. The pick is black. The band's name/logo is printed in white ink on one side. The other side has the words "FIRE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN" printed in white ink. This is a serious BOC collector's item!!! Good luck trying to find another like it. Many Buck Dharma picks have been sold and I can only assume that this one was his as well, but I cannot be sure, so bid at your own risk. At any rate, it's a cool item. Good luck, jj
