  • Condition: The item for sale is an antique brown glass bottle with a black metal screw cap, paper label, & full original contents in its original box made circa 1920-1930. The paper label reads in part : "Foley's Honey & Tar Compound. No Chloroform. An Expectorant and Demulcent for Coughs and Hoarseness due to Colds. Foley & Company, Chicago." The bottle measures 6 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide X 1 1/4 inches deep. The bottle is in very good condition. There are no chips and no cracks. The screw cap has wear to the edges. The label is in poor condition due to losses, a tear across the bottom, stains & age toning. The box is in fair / poor condition due to missing the upper flaps; tears, losses & bends at the top; a torn surface loss & skinned are on the lower part pf the back side; a skinned area across the lower part pf the front; stains along the lower edges; wear to the edges and age toning.
