General Motors Product Information booklets - lot of 9 - 1971 through 1979

Description

For many years, General Motors mailed Product Information booklets to its stockholders each year.   This listing is for a lot of 9 annual issues from 1971 though 1979.
The booklets include detailed descriptions and photos of most of the passenger cars offered for that model year in the United States across all brands including Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Chevrolet.  The1974 through 1978 booklets also include a few pages featuring GMC and Chevrolet recreational vehicles and light trucks.
The booklets are in excellent condition with the exception of a hand written note on the cover of the 1971 issue reflecting how many cars were featured inside.  As a young boy, I kept count of how many different cars I had photos of each year.   There are no markings inside the booklets.  The covers are bit faded or aged, but have been stored in paper wrappings for most of their existence.   Also, the 1972 through 1975 issues were direct mail pieces sent without a covering, and the covers of those have some minor tears as a result plus the back cover has some remnants of the mailing labels.  The booklets are bound with two staples and there are no other creases in the pages other than the original binding location.
