Description

5 1/2 Inch John Dewsbury Bradoon Bit. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This is one of John Dewsbury's two signature bits -- this bit was designed and patented in the 1990's by John Dewsbury's master loriner, and is made from Kangaroo Metal, which is 70% copper -- horses salivate very nicely on it. Similar to a French link snaffle in principle, except that the lozenge in this snaffle bit is larger and heavier, giving you a little more accuracy in your rein aide, and a quicker response from your horse. I have two of these Bradoons, they are both in very good used condition. If a bit is stamped on the mouth or on the rings, John Dewsbury, Kangaroo, or JD it is a counterfeit. Genuine John Dewsbury bits were made from 1832-2007 ONLY. However, John Dewsbury bits have not been stamped since the 1960’s.
