Large SEAL of MARYLAND Official MD State DOCUMENT 1983 Vintage
Governor Harry Hughes Signed
This is a Governor's Citation from 1983.  It is an old, official document from Maryland.  It measures about 14 inches long by 11 inches wide. It is made of off-white, thick, card material.
It is decorated with 2 State Seals:
1) one is 1.75" diam. and lithographed in color; and
2) the other one is 3.75" diam. and made of a thin gold-color metal, with black and gold ribbons attached (see pics).
This document was too large for my scanner.  Please look at the last 2 ebay pics: one shows the top half of the document; the other shows the bottom half.
The signatures appear to be real, because the ink is thicker in some strokes than in others.
The former owner
won this award in 1983 for his 30 years of
working on Highway Design for Maryland.  I purchased it as part of an estate.
Very Good Condition:
Document is 14" x 11". It is very clean and sharp.  It appears to have an original ink signature by Gov. Hughes.
It is very attractive, with 2 State Seals (one is 1.75" diam. and lithographed in color, and the other one is 3.75" diam. and made of a thin gold-color metal), with black and gold ribbons (see pics).
I will carefully pack and ship this fragile item to the winning bidder.
