Memories Of Italy. For your consideration we have five items all made in ITALY.
The first is a replica of the famous statute of David by Michelangelo . This replica is made of cast resin and stands about 12 1/2 inches inches. It has been stored in a curio cabinet for over 20 years.
Next is a replica of a famous statute of the emperor Augustus. This statute is also cast resin standing approximately 9 inches inches. It is painted . Augustus’ breastplate is gold & black, the tunic underneath white, the robe he carries is red and the base golden squares. His skin is flesh colored and hair dark brown.
Next is a tiny whimsical figure of a Roman emperor. Could it be Nero? See photo. He is 3 inches tall. He is made of plastic.
Next is a cast resin figure of a Roman charioteer which measures 7 1/2 high, 9 1/2 long and 4 inches wide.. The charioteer has become detached from the chariot with the bottom of his right foot in the chariot (see photos). The base is wood and this is very heavy
Last is an Sicilian puppet (Pupo) over 60 years old. His colors are yellow and his armor tarnished. He is still able to wield his sword as the metal rod and hook still work but the string attached to his shield has detached. See photos.
