The box was made to hold 24 glass bottles in the int lattice work of cubbies, designed to softly nestle individual bottles of soda. The outside of the shallow box feats a red enml pntd ext, which is dec w/the white enml, stenciled typography of the Fall River, MA soda bottler, White Eagle Beverages. The enml pntd surfaces are 100% orig & haven't been 'in-painted,' altered or enhanced by any 'in-painting' (old or new). The box feats very scarce, early red & white enml sidewall decoration. The box is strengthened by the use of tin reinforcing edge strips, allowing the soda crates to be stacked holding glass bottles, many levels high in trucks & in storage coolers. Great clear, crisp pntd typography.
