VINTAGE DRINK FROSTY SHELF LINER SPRING ROLL 1950'S -60'S

VINTAGE DRINK FROSTIE ROLL UP SHELF LINER.
This is an advertising item, for FROSTIE ROOT BEER soft drink, or soda water. I'm not sure, but I think it was intended to be displayed on a grocery store, or super market, shelf, under six packs of the product. It is made of plastic, and is tightly coiled. One end is trimmed with a metal strip, the other end does NOT have a metal edge. It has the same, repeated image of the advertising character, "Frostie" and reads: "Drink Frostie." It is just under 7 inches wide. When you unroll it completely, it is just under 3 feet long. The back side is embossed: "SPRING-ROLL...U.S. PAT. 2,852,143 - PAT. APPLIED FOR." (This patent was applied for in the 1950's, and I'm pretty sure this was made in the late fifties or early sixties.) The condition is VERY GOOD, with only minor wear. When you unroll it, and let get go, it will immediately snap back into the closed / rolled position. It displays very nicely and is guaranteed to be old & original.
